By my calculations, it is now nearly two weeks since we were given the freedom to sit in pubs and clubs 24 hours a day, drinking ourselves into oblivion. Or, to put it another way, since we were officially recognised as responsible adults entitled to a glass of red while enjoying some café culture late into the night.
