Life used to be so simple - that was before people started talking about efficiency

Well, honestly. Deluded soul that I am. I live in expectation that some things in life should be straightforward. Going to the pub. for example, or making a cup of tea. Actually, both those just about scrape under the wire encircling the dwindling camp of easily accomplished 21st century workaday tasks, although teabag science's unhealthy interest in drawstrings suggests the latter may soon get kicked out.
