Good clinical leadership depends on empowered managers who are not afraid to change their ways of working

THE GOVERNMENT believes high quality clinical care is dependent on clinical leadership development. A three-day programme entitled Leading an Empowered Organisation is being offered to more than 32,050 frontline leaders and nurse managers in England. The programme offers practical skill development and addresses the general public's concerns about clinical care, as well as nursing's capability to implement the NHS Plan and other policy initiatives.
