Gillian Martin improved her blood transfusion safety techniques after reading a continuing professional development article

I work on an acute renal unit where I regularly give concentrated red cell (CRC) transfusions and occasionally fresh frozen plasma (FFP), albumin or platelets. Seeing this continuing professional development (CPD) article made me think it was time to update and improve my knowledge.
