Walpole, Massachusetts, is probably a mere blocked pore on the pimply face of North America but is, nonetheless, a town close to my heart. For there, at 663 East Street, is a farmhouse built in 1795 that was later used as a stop on Walpole's underground railway Amazing. But the really fascinating thing is that the house is named after me!
