Have you noticed how every donkey you ever meet is called Dandelion. Buttercup or Arthur? They all have nice pastoral names or ones which make them seem like loveable old buffers. You never come across one called White Fang or Mad Max because it just does not suit the image of your average ass, who, despite a slight problem in the stubbornness department, always comes across as long-suffering and kind to children.
