Irritable, tired and moody? Not getting enough sleep? Need some tips to make it through the night? Yes, that's me, I thought, and read on excited at the prospect of a cure. But sadly they were tips for night nurses, not pop-eyed insomniacs like me. The article offered a host of ideas for overcoming the physiological horrors that ensue from the night shift, but little for those of us who pitch restlessly through the witching hours.
