Give working parents a chance to do the job

In reply to Julie Connolly (Letters December 15), I was one of those women who wanted it all. In my case, I didn't want all the best off-duty and holiday periods - I just wanted to enjoy my life as a nurse and be a mother. My hormones won and I had two children and continued my career.
