The cigarette butt flicking contest has been dropped from this year's Redneck Games, an orgy of sophistication held in the deep south of the US of A, because an 'athlete' was caught sticking lead weights in his butt to help it travel further. The lead-in-the-butt controversy is yet another sign that nothing, not even fag ends, can be taken at face value any more.
