UKCC has 'completely lost its marbles' over reinstatement of rapists to nursing register

M Bolger , Sheffield

After reading your editorial (April 3), I, like many of my colleagues, must be wondering if the UKCC has completely lost its marbles! I was outraged last September at the reinstatement of Subaschan Bundham after his five-year jail sentence for rape. I nearly put pen to paper then and now regret not doing so. I believe that in that particular case, a professor of nursing was chairing the professional conduct committee, so one cannot put that decision down to ignorance.
