Phil Downing and colleagues compare experiences of UK and US emergency nursing practice

In June last year, three A&E nurses linked to the University of Wolverhampton’s School of Nursing and Midwifery were included in a group of clinically based staff invited to visit the College of Nursing at the University of Kentucky, and its associated hospital, the William Chandler Medical Centre. The aim of the visit was to examine, and compare developments in advanced nursing practice between the US and the UK.
