The COVID-19 pandemic has placed an unprecedented burden on health systems worldwide, and the devastating implications for cancer care are becoming more evident. For many of us working in cancer in the UK, 2020 has been challenging. We have had to adapt and react quickly to rapidly changing circumstances in the face of COVID-19 and this has undoubtedly put pressure on our nursing teams.
